A calmer inbox starts with clear controls. SABHYA’s optional DM protection conceals likely threatening or abusive text in our app’s inbox. You can open a shielded message when you choose. Legitimate disagreement is not a reason to conceal a message.
What it does
- Uses narrow text rules for obvious threats and selected abusive phrases.
- Conceals flagged text behind a Reveal message control.
- Keeps your received-message search, tags and handled status available.
- Requires the Instagram messaging permission and new-message webhooks.
What stays in Instagram
SABHYA does not delete, hide, move or block DMs inside Instagram. Instagram’s own Hidden Words, restrict and block controls remain available there. Our app does not import your entire message history.
Set it up
Open DM protection, connect an eligible Instagram account, and enable SABHYA: shield likely abusive DMs in this app in Alpha Studio’s shared connection settings. Messaging access is separate from comment access. Meta’s public permission review is still required before general creator onboarding.
Received conversation text expires after up to 90 days. You can disconnect or delete your workspace from Settings. Read our Privacy Policy for processing and deletion details.
For comment moderation, SABHYA’s review, hide and restore tools remain separate. Broader automatic abuse hiding is disabled until its acceptance checks pass.
